Shipping policy
SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
Effective Date: 09/21/2026
At Home Recovery Sanctuary, we understand that purchasing premium wellness and recovery equipment is an important investment. Our goal is to provide clear expectations regarding order processing, shipping, freight delivery, inspections, delays, and damaged shipments.
Because many of our products—including saunas, massage chairs, cold plunges, and red-light therapy equipment—are large, heavy, high-value items shipped directly from manufacturers or authorized suppliers, shipping methods and delivery requirements may vary by product.
Please review this Shipping & Delivery Policy before placing your order.
1. Scope
This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to eligible purchases made through the Home Recovery Sanctuary website at https://homerecoverysanctuary.com
Shipping methods, costs, processing times, delivery services, and restrictions may vary depending on the product, manufacturer, destination, and services selected at checkout.
This policy should be read together with our Return & Refund Policy, Terms of Service, and any product-specific shipping information displayed on our Website.
2. Where We Ship
Home Recovery Sanctuary currently ships to eligible addresses within United States /Domestic.
Additional charges or restrictions may apply to deliveries to:
- Remote or rural locations;
- Locations with limited freight-carrier access; and
-
Other destinations requiring special handling.
At this time, we do not ship internationally.
Please contact us before ordering if you are uncertain whether your location is eligible for delivery.
3. Order Processing
Orders are generally submitted to the applicable manufacturer or supplier for processing after payment authorization and any required order verification.
Because Home Recovery Sanctuary works with multiple manufacturers and suppliers, processing times vary by product.
Estimated processing and shipping information may be provided on individual product pages or during the ordering process.
Processing time is different from transit or delivery time.
Some products may be:
-
In stock and ready to ship;
-
Shipped directly from the manufacturer;
-
Built or assembled after ordering;
-
Made to order;
-
Temporarily backordered; or
-
Subject to manufacturer production schedules.
We recommend contacting Home Recovery Sanctuary before ordering if you have a specific delivery deadline.
4. Shipping Estimates
Any shipping, transit, or delivery dates provided are estimates unless expressly identified as guaranteed.
Home Recovery Sanctuary works with manufacturers, suppliers, and carriers to provide accurate estimates, but circumstances outside our direct control may affect delivery.
Possible causes of delay include:
-
Manufacturer production schedules;
-
Inventory availability;
-
Carrier delays;
-
Severe weather;
-
Natural disasters;
-
Transportation disruptions;
-
Labor disruptions;
-
Supply-chain interruptions;
-
Holidays;
-
Remote delivery locations; and
-
Other circumstances affecting fulfillment or transportation.
We will communicate material shipping delays when required and when information is made available to us.
5. Federal Shipping Requirements
Home Recovery Sanctuary intends to comply with applicable requirements of the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule.
When we provide a shipping timeframe, we must have a reasonable basis for expecting that the merchandise can be shipped within that timeframe.
If no shipping timeframe is provided, applicable federal requirements generally require sellers to have a reasonable basis to expect shipment within 30 days.
If we learn that an order cannot be shipped within the applicable timeframe, we will provide the customer with the appropriate notice and opportunity to consent to the delay or cancel the affected order for a prompt refund as required by applicable law.
6. Manufacturer-Direct Shipping
Many Home Recovery Sanctuary products are shipped directly from the manufacturer or authorized supplier to the customer.
As a result:
-
Products within the same order may arrive separately;
-
Different products may use different carriers;
-
Tracking information may be issued separately;
-
Delivery procedures may vary by manufacturer;
-
Some shipments may require a delivery appointment; and
-
Large products may arrive by freight rather than traditional parcel delivery.
Home Recovery Sanctuary will provide available shipping and tracking information as it is received from our fulfillment partners.
7. Standard Parcel Delivery
Smaller products may be delivered by standard parcel carriers.
Tracking information will generally be provided when available.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Once tracking indicates delivery, customers should promptly locate and secure the package.
Please contact us promptly if tracking shows that your package was delivered but you cannot locate it.
8. Freight Delivery
Large or heavy products may be shipped by an LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) or other freight carrier.
Freight shipments may require a scheduled delivery appointment.
The freight carrier may contact you using the telephone number or email address provided with your order. It is therefore important that your contact information is accurate.
Customers are responsible for responding to carrier communications and being available during the agreed delivery window.
9. Standard Curbside Freight Delivery
Unless otherwise specified, standard freight delivery may be curbside delivery.
Curbside delivery generally means the freight carrier delivers the shipment to the curb, driveway entrance, or another accessible location determined by the carrier.
Standard curbside delivery generally does not include:
-
Moving the product inside your residence;
-
Carrying products upstairs or downstairs;
-
Placement in a specific room;
-
Unpacking;
-
Assembly;
-
Installation;
-
Electrical work;
-
Plumbing work; or
-
Removal of packaging materials.
Because some products are extremely heavy, customers should arrange adequate assistance before delivery.
10. Threshold, Room-of-Choice, and White-Glove Delivery
Certain products or locations may qualify for upgraded delivery services such as:
-
Threshold delivery;
-
Garage delivery;
-
Room-of-choice delivery;
-
White-glove delivery;
-
Unpacking;
-
Assembly; or
-
Packaging removal.
These services are not included unless specifically stated in the product listing, order confirmation, or purchased separately.
Service definitions vary by carrier and manufacturer. Customers should review the specific services included before purchasing an upgraded delivery option.
Installation should not be assumed to be included with white-glove delivery unless installation is expressly stated.
11. Preparing for Delivery
Before ordering a large product, customers are responsible for determining whether the product can safely reach and fit in its intended location.
Please verify:
-
Product dimensions;
-
Packaged dimensions;
-
Product weight;
-
Doorway widths;
-
Hallway widths;
-
Stairways;
-
Elevators;
-
Ceiling heights;
-
Turning clearances;
-
Driveway accessibility;
-
Flooring requirements;
-
Structural requirements;
-
Electrical requirements;
-
Plumbing and drainage requirements;
-
Ventilation requirements; and
-
Manufacturer installation specifications.
Home Recovery Sanctuary strongly recommends measuring the complete delivery path—not just the final installation area—before placing your order.
Products that cannot be delivered or installed because of inadequate access, incorrect measurements, unsuitable site conditions, or failure to meet manufacturer requirements may be subject to return freight, redelivery, storage, restocking, or other applicable charges.
12. Freight Delivery Inspection — IMPORTANT
Please inspect freight shipments carefully before signing the delivery receipt whenever reasonably possible.
When your shipment arrives:
-
Verify the number of packages, cartons, crates, or pallets.
-
Inspect all visible sides of the shipment.
-
Look for tears, punctures, crushed cartons, broken pallets, water damage, dents, or other signs of mishandling.
-
Photograph the shipment before removing packaging when possible.
-
Photograph any visible damage.
-
Note visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
-
Retain a copy of the delivery receipt.
-
Keep all packaging until you have inspected the product itself.
If the driver uses an electronic delivery device, request that any visible damage be entered into the delivery record before you sign.
Writing "Subject to Inspection" does not necessarily establish that freight damage occurred. Specific visible damage should be described whenever possible.
13. Severely Damaged Freight
If a shipment appears substantially damaged, contact Home Recovery Sanctuary as soon as reasonably possible for guidance.
Do not automatically refuse a shipment solely because the exterior packaging shows minor damage.
When severe damage is apparent, photograph the shipment and contact us for instructions when circumstances permit.
If refusal is authorized or appropriate because of substantial shipping damage, document the damage and reason for refusal with the carrier.
14. Concealed Damage
Occasionally, a product may be damaged even though its external packaging appears intact.
After delivery, carefully unpack and inspect the product as soon as reasonably possible.
If concealed shipping damage is discovered:
-
Stop unpacking or installation when appropriate;
-
Take photographs and/or video of the damage;
-
Photograph the packaging;
-
Keep all boxes, crates, pallets, foam, wrapping, and other packaging;
-
Do not discard shipping materials; and
-
Contact Home Recovery Sanctuary promptly.
For efficient freight-claim handling, we ask customers to report visible or concealed shipping damage as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of delivery.
This requested reporting period is intended to help us pursue carrier and manufacturer claims promptly and does not eliminate rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
15. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us before attempting extensive assembly, installation, modification, or repair.
We may request:
-
Your order number;
-
Product serial number;
-
Photographs;
-
Video;
-
Photographs of packaging;
-
Freight documents; and
-
A description of the problem.
Depending on the circumstances, available remedies may include replacement parts, repair, product replacement, or refund in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy, applicable manufacturer warranty, and applicable law.
16. Delivery Appointments
Freight carriers may contact customers to arrange a delivery appointment.
Customers are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate contact information;
-
Responding to carrier communications;
-
Scheduling delivery when required; and
-
Having an authorized adult available to accept and inspect the shipment.
Delivery appointment times are generally carrier-provided windows and may not represent guaranteed arrival times.
17. Missed Deliveries and Redelivery Fees
If a customer schedules a freight delivery but is unavailable to receive it, the carrier may assess:
-
Redelivery charges;
-
Storage fees;
-
Reconsignment fees; or
-
Other carrier charges.
Where permitted by law, charges resulting from a customer's failure to receive a properly scheduled delivery may be the customer's responsibility.
18. Storage Fees
Freight carriers may begin charging storage fees when customers fail to schedule or accept delivery within the carrier's permitted timeframe.
Where permitted by law, storage charges resulting from customer-caused delays may be passed through to the customer.
Please respond promptly to freight-carrier communications to avoid unnecessary charges.
19. Refused Deliveries
Do not refuse a shipment without a valid reason or without contacting Home Recovery Sanctuary when circumstances permit.
A customer who refuses an undamaged shipment because of change of mind, inadequate space, access problems, buyer's remorse, or another customer-caused reason may be responsible, where permitted by law, for:
-
Original shipping costs;
-
Return freight;
-
Carrier fees;
-
Storage fees;
-
Redelivery charges; and
-
Applicable disclosed restocking fees.
Refusal because of documented substantial shipping damage will be handled according to our damaged-shipment procedures.
20. Address Changes
Please verify your shipping address carefully before completing checkout.
Contact us immediately if an address needs to be changed.
Once an order has entered fulfillment or shipment, we cannot guarantee that the delivery address can be changed.
Carrier reconsignment, address correction, rerouting, or redelivery fees resulting from a customer-requested address change may be the customer's responsibility where permitted by law.
We cannot guarantee that carriers will permit address changes after shipment.
21. Remote and Limited-Access Locations
Additional charges may apply to locations that require specialized freight service.
Examples may include:
-
Remote residences;
-
Islands;
-
Locations requiring ferry transportation;
-
Mountain or difficult-access properties;
-
Gated properties with access restrictions; and
-
Areas classified by carriers as limited-access locations.
If additional charges are identified before shipment, we will contact you when customer authorization is required.
22. Delivery Access
Customers are responsible for informing Home Recovery Sanctuary of unusual delivery conditions before shipment.
These may include:
-
Narrow or unpaved roads;
-
Weight-restricted roads or bridges;
-
Steep driveways;
-
Low overhead clearance;
-
Gated access;
-
Limited truck turnaround areas; or
-
Locations inaccessible to standard freight vehicles.
Additional carrier services or alternative delivery arrangements may be necessary.
23. Installation
Unless expressly stated otherwise, delivery does not include installation.
Customers are responsible for arranging appropriate installation and ensuring compliance with:
-
Manufacturer instructions;
-
Building codes;
-
Electrical codes;
-
Plumbing codes;
-
Permit requirements; and
-
Other applicable requirements.
Certain products may require installation by qualified or licensed professionals.
Improper installation may affect product operation, safety, return eligibility, and manufacturer warranty coverage.
24. Tracking Information
Tracking information will be provided when available.
Freight tracking may differ from standard parcel tracking and may not always provide real-time location updates.
Tracking information indicating arrival at a local freight terminal does not necessarily mean the product is available for immediate residential delivery. The carrier may still need to schedule an appointment.
25. Shipping Delays
If an order cannot ship within the timeframe represented at the time of purchase, Home Recovery Sanctuary will handle the delay in accordance with applicable law.
Where required, we will provide:
-
Notice of the delay;
-
A revised shipping date when reasonably available;
-
Information about your right to cancel; and
-
An appropriate method for accepting the delay or cancelling the affected order.
If cancellation and a refund are required under applicable law, we will provide the applicable refund rather than requiring the customer to accept store credit.
26. Lost Shipments
If your shipment appears to be lost in transit, contact Home Recovery Sanctuary.
We will work with the applicable manufacturer, supplier, and/or carrier to investigate.
If the shipment is confirmed lost, we will provide the appropriate replacement or refund in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the order.
27. Multiple Shipments
Orders containing multiple products may ship separately.
Receiving only part of an order does not necessarily mean other products are missing.
Separate tracking information may be provided for each shipment.
28. Risk of Loss and Title
Any provisions regarding transfer of title and risk of loss are subject to applicable law and the terms governing the particular transaction.
Nothing in this policy is intended to transfer responsibility for merchandise to a customer earlier than permitted by applicable law.
29. Manufacturer and Carrier Policies
Certain shipping procedures are established by manufacturers, suppliers, or freight carriers.
Home Recovery Sanctuary will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delivery requirements that apply to your order.
However, manufacturer and carrier procedures may vary.
Nothing in a manufacturer or carrier policy overrides consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
30. Returns After Delivery
Shipping and delivery acceptance is separate from return eligibility.
Customers wishing to return an eligible product after delivery should review the Home Recovery Sanctuary Return & Refund Policy before shipping or moving the product.
Do not return merchandise to a manufacturer, supplier, warehouse, or Home Recovery Sanctuary address without receiving return authorization.
Unauthorized returns may be refused.
31. Customer Responsibilities
To help ensure a successful delivery, customers are responsible for:
-
Providing accurate contact and shipping information;
-
Reviewing product dimensions and specifications before purchase;
-
Confirming access to the delivery location;
-
Responding to carrier scheduling requests;
-
Being available for scheduled freight delivery;
-
Inspecting freight shipments;
-
Documenting visible damage;
-
Retaining packaging when damage is suspected; and
-
Following manufacturer installation and safety instructions.
32. Our Commitment
At Home Recovery Sanctuary, our goal is to make purchasing premium wellness and recovery equipment as clear and straightforward as possible.
We recognize that purchasing a sauna, massage chair, cold plunge, red-light therapy system, or other premium wellness product is a significant investment.
Our team will work with our manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, and customers to help resolve shipping and delivery issues fairly and efficiently.
33. Legal Rights
Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify rights or remedies that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable federal, state, or local law.
If applicable law provides greater protection than this policy, applicable law will control.
